Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan

Kamala Nimbkar Balbhavan (KNB) is a full time Marathi medium school with classes from pre-primary to SSC. It is named after Kamalabai Nimbkar, the first occupational therapist in India and the mother of Shri BonBehari Nimbkar,  supporter of PSS. 

 

Care is taken at the time of enrollment that the children come from all walks of life and each class is a cross-section of the society. The number of girls and boys is roughly equal. The school is secular and it abides by the fundamental rights of Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity given by the Constituation of India.

 

We look at our teachers as valuable resources and empower them through teacher trainings and mentoring support. We look at KNB as a resource centre and offer various trainings.
